On 15 September 2025, the Financial Intelligence Centre (FIC) officially completed its upgrade of the goAML registration and reporting platform. After a week-long maintenance period, all features are now back online, including registration, report submissions, and the message board. The new goAML 5.4 comes packed with productivity tools, improved security, and smarter reporting screens. It’s part of FIC’s effort to stay aligned with international standards and keep our compliance systems sharp and secure.

What is New

The new reporting platform has enhanced features,

  • Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) for added login security.

  • New reporting fields to improve accuracy and reduce rejections.

  • Streamlined message board with smarter filters and message recall.

  • Custom reporting templates for easier submission of STRs, CTRs, IFTRs, and more.

  • Updated schema to align with international tech standards.

If you’re feeling a bit lost with the new layout, don’t worry, FIC has provided updated user guides, technical documents, and engagement packs to help you navigate the new system.

New goAML 5.4 Supporting Documentation

Many accountable institutions were affected by the system upgrade and could not submit reports during the downtime. If this is you, don’t panic. The FIC is preparing guidance for B2B users who need to handle backlog submissions.
