If you have been waiting on a response from CIPC, you are not alone.

Notice 21 of 2026 issued on 20 April 2026, confirms delays in responding to queries in its Disclosures and Finance departments. The backlog is partly the result of a system transition from dedicated email mailboxes to a new Customer Enquiry Management System (CEMS).

CIPC says it has deployed extra staff, streamlined internal processes, and set up enhanced monitoring to clear the backlog faster. The Commission is asking customers for patience while it works through both legacy mailbox enquiries and new queries coming through CEMS.

If you are waiting on a disclosure or finance-related response from CIPC, log your enquiry via CEMS to ensure it is tracked under the new system.
