Customs Traders: Update Your SARS Profile or Risk Suspension

Since 2022, SARS has been rolling out its new Registration, Licensing, and Accreditation (RLA) system for all customs and excise traders. Now, the deadline is real: if your customs code and entity details are not updated, your customs code could be suspended.

Here’s what you need to do, immediately

  1. Update your RLA profile

  2. Merge your tax and customs details under Legal Entity Registration

  3. Complete the onboarding via eFiling.
