Meet Annebe Kruger, a financial manager, part-time lecturer, former pro athlete, and a woman who wakes up at 4:15am to crush her goals. She didn’t grow up in a world of spreadsheets and balance sheets. She built her own. With no school background in accounting, Annebe took a risk at varsity, and turned it into a calling.
Today, she balances multi-entity finance operations, mentors future accountants, and still finds time to compete in CrossFit challenges. Her story is proof: discipline beats background, and planning is a superpower.

Can you share some key career milestones or defining moments?
One of my biggest career milestones was taking a leap of faith by studying accounting at university, even though I didn’t have it as a subject in school since I attended a technical school. It was a challenge, but I’m proud to have earned my honours degree and ranked among the top in my class. This experience taught me that your background doesn’t define your success, with determination and dedication, you can achieve anything.
