The Property Practitioners Regulatory Authority (PPRA) issued a Notice granting a once-off grace period for the renewal of Fidelity Fund Certificates (FFCs) expiring in 2025. The new original deadline of 31 October was extended to 30 November 2025.
What This Means for Property Practitioners
If you submit a compliant renewal application, including all required documents and payment by 30 November 2025, you will not incur any late penalties.
If you miss the grace period deadline, penalties will apply retroactively from 31 October 2025.
No extensions or second chances, this is a one-time concession.
FFCs for those who submit during the grace period will be issued in January 2026, with a 30-day extension granted to accommodate processing delays and holiday periods.
Practicioners who submitted a compliant application before 31 October 2025 are covered, your current FFC remains valid until 31 December 2025. No action needed.
The PPRA acknowledges ongoing IT system issues and apologises for any inconvenience. Efforts are underway to assist all practitioners promptly.
