PPRA extended PDE Exam Registration Deadline to 5 May 2025

If you're planning to write the Professional Designation Examination (PDE) with the Property Practitioners Regulatory Authority (PPRA) — good news: the deadline to register has been extended to Monday, 5 May 2025. The PDE is a mandatory requirement for intern and full-status property practitioners who wish to be permanently registered and recognised in the profession.

This extension comes after technical issues with the MyPPRA portal disrupted access for some candidates. In response, the PPRA has granted additional time to ensure all eligible property practitioners can register without being penalised by the earlier portal outages.

🚀 What You Need to Know

  • New registration deadline: Monday, 5 May 2025

  • Exam date: Thursday, 8 May 2025

  • Register and pay online at www.theppra.org.za

🛑 Reminder: All original registration conditions still apply — including valid FFC status, qualification checks, and (where applicable) logbook submissions.

📌 Tip for candidates: Don’t wait until the last minute — ensure your documents are in order and payment reflects before the new deadline.
