Login Trouble on the SARS MobiApp? Here’s the Quick Fix

If you’re getting the message: “Sorry! Your login request was not successful” on the SARS MobiApp, don’t panic, it’s a known issue, and there’s an easy solution.

The fix?

Update your Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) settings on eFiling:

  1. Log in to eFiling via your browser

  2. Go to your 2FA settings

  3. Remove ‘Mobile Application’ as a method

  4. Leave only ‘One Time Pin (OTP)’ selected

That’s it, you should be able to log in to the app again.
