SARS issued Notice confirming that some taxpayers are experiencing difficulties completing their Global Minimum Tax (GMT) registration.

In response, SARS has committed to the following:

  • Active assistance will be provided to affected taxpayers who are genuinely trying to meet their obligations.

  • No penalties will be imposed while the registration process is underway.

  • The deadline to achieve compliance is 31 May 2026.
