Disparity of Registration Numbers and Incorporation Dates

Similarly to prior years, entity registrations where the applications were submitted in 2025 may have a a 2025 registration number and a 2026 incorporation date.

CIPC clarifies that the registration number reflects the year the application was received, while the incorporation date indicates the actual registration date. The disparity is due to system automation when registration spreads over different calendar years.
